Since March 2021, I’ve been a Media Specialist at Prince William County, Virginia, creating and producing creative video content for the cable channel and social media. I am part of a team that uses video, web, social media, writing skills, and other tools to reach internal and external audiences.

Since 2013, Beyond the Green has been bringing Mean Green fans a behind-the-scenes look at North Texas football. The all-access program has been nominated for several College Sports Media Awards programming and Lone Star Sports Emmys. I’ve worked for the show since 2015 as camera operator, audio technician, and associate producer.

The Oak Cliff Film Festival was established in 2011 as a regional film festival in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas. The festival is dedicated to discovering independent and archival films and sharing them with new audiences via screenings and educational programs. I’ve worked for the media crew for OCFF since 2015.

The Texas Music Scene” television series features both the young artists and the legends that have come to define this unique and amazing music scene, and celebrates the unique music created in the Lone Star State with a focus on country, americana, folk and blues artists. I was a camera operator and assistant editor for the show.

About Me

During high school, I was part of the Communication Major Studies program at Plano East Senior High School, spending my junior & senior years learning how to run television & video cameras, how to edit, and how to write for broadcasts.

I followed my family’s tradition and graduated from Texas A&M University with a major in Journalism and a minor in Film Studies. While at A&M, I started my television career by working at the CBS affiliate in Bryan / College Station, KBTX.

After college, I worked odd jobs on and off for a few years before I decided to go back to school and graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Radio, Television, and Film. While at UNT, I worked for a number of small, turnkey production companies, and further expanded my desire to create compelling content.

Since then, I’ve worked almost every job in video and television production…from writer and producer to camera op and editor…a couple of times I was even an actor.   My clients varied from large, national broadcasting networks to friends and family and small businesses that were looking to have a dynamic video for their project. No job was too big or too small.
